Bebe Le (haut le coeur) is a Berlin-based visual artist. Growing up, Bebe developed a visceral need to explore and question herself as a human and a woman. This led to the development of a body of work exploring her body and its perceptions. Her inner feelings are like the engine that keeps her expressing herself.
Bebe takes pictures as a personal and intimate visual diary, to let out the discordant and overwhelming feelings that sometimes burn in her chest. “I’m a woman with a body, but I’m also a body of a woman. I’m free to use it and free it from a gaze that is not mine, look at it and show it in a more truthful way. Nor saint nor obscene. Or maybe both.”
